My baby suffer from cold and cough last one week and yesterday doctor recommented levosalbutamol sulphate, ambroxol hcl and guaiphenesin oral drops and phrnylephrine hcl and chlorpheniramine maleate drops and now my baby continuously going motion( diarrhoea) .what can now do?

Cough and Cold needs to be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor after the exact cause is diagnosed.may be infection or allergy.it may not be related to food items but seasonal changes may aggravate the susceptibility to get infected .
maintain good immunity of the child with proper diet and supplements.
if associated with fever too, calpol can be given three times a day..
give steamto relieve blocked nose and nasoclear drops multiple times.
Cough Syrup or nebulization should be given only after a proper evaluation according to the type of cough .self medication may not be so helpful so please consult your doctor once. if the cough is productive you can give brozeet-ls or aàmbrodil syrup for now only n continue only after doctor's advice.avoid refrigerated items and give simple home-made preparations a required.child may not be interested in food due to altered sensations of taste bud in illness will gradually begin to eat as symptoms resolve.
