Q.

My baby is 6 months old and weight 5.7 kg.Her birth weight was 3.4kg and she is 72cm tall now.Is this weight normal or is there anything to worry

A. weight is normal but weight gain is less as per her birth weight. feed as often as they seem hungry or want comforted, offer more breastfeeds, feed from both breasts at each breastfeed. If you're concerned, meet with a lactation consultant or your pediatrician.

A. there is nothing to worry about.. baby should be double the birth weight at 4-6months and three times the birth weight at completion of one year.. add potato sweet potato ragi dalia eggs banana dry fruit as cashew almonds walnuts in paste or powdered form ghee butter cheese in moderate amount for weight gain..
