Start with dal water, cooked fruit puree, mashed potato, ragi porridge, soft mashed khichdi .
Add spoonful of ghee to the meals.

Generally by 5-6 months babies double their birth weight.
Check if baby has doubled her birth weight .
As baby is 6 month old start semi solids, fluids Once or twice a day and Check suitability before introducing new food item.
Mashed banana, papaya,mango, chikoo puriee, Steamed and mashed potatoes, carrot, apple, cerelac with pulses, grains, Sooji porridge,dal water , rice starch helps in weight gain.
