My baby is 55 days old and from last one month he is not sleeping during nights for 3 to 4 hours but from last 3 days he has been awake for 10 to 12 hours and has been crying continuously for a few hours. But after 12 hours when he falls asleep he sleeps for 12 hours in a single stretch wakesup only for feed then falls asleep immediately. Does it requires doctor examination for staying awake for too long? please help
