Q.
my baby is 54 days old.he got vaccination today..he is not having fever..he is not sleeping & is crying in pain..please suggest medication

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worry. Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomentatiogn locally and paracetamol can be given for fever or pain. Thrombophobe ointment chyan be applied in acute pain and swelling .

Rashmi GuptaMom of a 11 yr 6 m old girl3 years agoA. You can actually rub ice cube on to the affected area that is going to help in settling down the swelling and pain and even if there is no fever paracetamol can be given to the child after every six hours to reduce onto the pain Pe
