My baby is 50days old he passes motion two days once. Recently i feel like he is struggling in pain amd cryjng while passing gas.is that because he is crying for passing stool?what can be done to relieve his discomfort

the recurrent stretching / curving of the body again and again as well as uncomfort / making grunting sounds as well as hiccups as well as colic pain all are due to gas in the intestine and stomach.
it is very important that after giving milk to the child you
 should keep the child in upright position and do burping for 15 to 20 minutes(irrespective that you hear the burps or not). gas in stomach causes hiccups.
do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because one time burping will not remove all the gas and if the gas is not removed properly itx goes into intestine causing abnormal distension and that will lead to colic pain again and again.
keep the child in upright position whether you hear the burping sound xor not and also it is not important that you will hear the sound when the child removes the air from the oral cavity.

hello the breastfed baby will have less waste and can go without passing motion even for a week and if the baby is not passing motion even after a week then you may check with your doctor otherwise nothing to worry about and it is normal
