my baby is 50 days old and she has lactose intolerance, firstcry pediatrician mentioned that physical examination required. could you please let me know what are all the tests are required if the baby has Lactose intolerance. because my doctor only suggested lactose free milk exept that he didn't asked for any tests or scans

in case of lactose intolerance there could be primary or secondary causes which needs to be ruled out clinically only so follow the advice given by your doctor and till that time you have to give lactose free milk

she got severe diarrhea, rashes, extreme gas and she was very uncomfortable. when we switch from breast milk to lactose- free formula all the symptoms are gone and now she is settled with Lactose free milk. we consulted 3 doctors and we have taken opinion from different pediatricians.
