Q.
My baby is 5 months old and she is having flat head also head is not looking symmetrical from right and left side. right side is more flat than left one can this be treated by itself? or I need to take some action regarding this, I am already using mustard pillow since she was 2 months old.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Flat head in Babies is very common mostly on one side initially when the baby is not flipping on the sides in the first few months . so because of the continuous pressure over the soft skull bones such flattening can be there . This will become normalhy by itself gradually when the skull grow in size and shape with age .
No musturd seed pillow or any such kind of interventidon like massage is required for the corrrction .
