My baby is 5 month old Her weight is 6.2 and height is 65cm Her birth weight was 3.5 Can you please suggest her weight is ok because she is gaining weight very slowly but she is super active child

A. I parent the weight is absolutely fine no need to worry about it it should double by 5 months of age which the baby has doubled feed the baby regularly and burp every time

A. In the initial months, weight gain between 140-200 gms per week is considered fine and by 5th month, it should double the birth weight. Your baby's weight is increasing fine. As you mentioned, she is very active and healthy, it can increase slowly which is completely fine. Also, you can also include semi solid and pureed foods in her diet between the age of 5-6 months for overall nutrition and development.
