my baby is 40 days old. having runny nose. what can be done?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be bejgneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric g 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever whicch needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Sinarist Paediatric drops can be given to the child five drops twice a day for three days minimum in five days maximum go ahead with that also can give indirect steam to the child twice a day 10 minutes each which is also going to help in reducing down the congestion and running child
