A. Namaste Mom, You could observe monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight.

A. You don’t need to force weight gain on child.Give him proper diet and that’s it.

Okay so the basic expectation and the least side is about a 500 g your child should gain every month so it should be minimum of 2 kg more than the birth weight and can be more than that also but when we talk about the lease expected weight after completing the age of four months is 2 kg more than the birthweight
