Q.

My baby is 3 months old and is lactose intolerant. We are giving him lactase enzyme before every feed from almost 3 months as suggested by the paediatrician. The paediatrician says that the baby still passes too much gas and so we should continue giving him lactase enzyme. He is not sure for how long we will need to give this lactase enzyme. Is passing too much gas a sign of lactose intolerant? If yes, how long it takes to treat lactose intolerance in infants?
