Q.
my baby is 3 and half month old..I gave him 3 1/2 month vaccine shots..it was done yesterday at 1 p.m..after 25 + hours..he is still crying, has pain and redness and lump on the left limb where injection was done...how to reduce the lump and redness...

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 timesd per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond d3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
