my baby is 2yr 7 month old. he has mild fever and cough since 3 days due to common cold. should I consult doctor

A. it is due it com cold .cough is common in this changing seasin. steam as a home remedy is a good that can be given to babies in a day at home only . For severe cough ascoril LS and montair like medication can be given .
