My daughter is also 24 months old and she speaks alot for eg a to z, 2 to 20,songs Rhymes and so many words and sentences. Try to communicate with the baby more and more. The more you talk, the more baby understands and speaks. Moreover, play Rhymes in TV, it is also very helpful and effective.

by the age of 2 years the child should be able to speak ok one or two words with meaning in a sentence and also should be able to understand all the commands and orders given by the parents and if it is not present then kindly meet your doctor

Hello ma’am A child normally starts to speak after the age of 6 to 8 months a slow was like mamma papa Tata types and by the age of two years a child starts to speak a lot of words if not a proper sentence or something proper words if your child has that still not started speaking then it could be delayed speech so I would advise you to consult a speech therapist once regarding the same
