she was suffering from viral fever from last few days.
Now all other symptoms are suppressed,but she is coughing more frequently.
I am giving her LCF LS syrup for cough but no relief.
Can you please suggest some remedies for cough .

Cold most of the time is a  viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine  which should be used oiunce a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and  according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any  fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours  if required .
