My baby is 2 n half month old from 3 days she has got thick mucus due to which she not able to cough properly nd she is getting irritated..can u prescribe any medicine

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 2.5 months old and she is having a thick coughs so she doesn’t sleep well at night and irritable so give her indrect steam inhalation and syrup Ascoril Ls 1 ml three times a day

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough in a child could be allergic , infective or due to some other cause like GERD so it needs proper valuation before giving any medication . Pdrimarily you can give steam inhalation to the child for the improvement before consulting your doctor.
