Q.
My baby is 2 months old. She has not been pooing for 8 days. It is making her cry and fussy. What is the reason for this?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if dthey are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colouxr (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.d
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

Constipation is common in breast feed babies. Babies can go without poop for a week altogether and even 10 days.
so no need to worry.
Do cycling exercise of legs and lift the legs and gently press across the tummy for bowel movement
