Q.

My baby is 2 months 18 days old when she was born her weight was 2 kg 800 gms, now her weight is 4kg 200 gms and her height is 59cms. So is her weight fine? or it is less..I formula feed her with lactogen-1 since she cannot get full from breastmilk..Please share your expertise on this..

A. yes it's optimum Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side

A. Ideally, an infant should gain approximately 140-200 gns weight per weein in the initial months and by 5th month, it should double the birth weight. Considering this, your baby's growth is fine and it is not less. Ifother do not have enough breastmilk supply, the best available option is to feed any good formula milk which in your case, is perfectly fine.
