my baby is 14 months old and she is having watery loose motion since yesterday every after 2 minutes whether she eats or not i had given progermina tube at the morning and econorm sachet at evening but nothing works the motion is constant

A. Loose motion could be because of some infection or if chronic than could be some malabsorption. Initially you can give zinc supplement for 2 weeks and probiotic like econorm sachet for 3 days . For any spegcific treatment consult your doctor and maintain proper hydration . try to avoid giving excessive milk ok and can give khichdi mashed potato ripe banana poha if the baby is above 6 months of age, maintain proper hydration by giving plenty of fluids.

A. Hi dear mom Also give ORS to ur baby to keep ur baby hydrated.. It can take 2-3 days to get cured. Consult ur paediatrician for the same again if there is no improvement. Take care
