Q.
My baby is 13 months old. He is not gaining weight. He is weighing 8 kg only. Also due to viral fever has become very thin and week. kindly suggest proper diet for him. Also I am breastfeeding him. so can I start giving him outside milk now.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. infant use to loose some weight post illness. Give your baby small meals with high calories, high dense, high protein diet at regular intervals.

Hi In all these cases you should always try to focus on liquid diet and once your child is back to normal try to increase the appetite of the child also would advise you to start because that’s going to help in meeting of the deficiencies in the body and the app and I should be better after that and if required please consult a nutritionist once
