shilpi BhandariMom of 2 children7 years agoA. Every time your baby is about to fall asleep at the breast, you gently release your nipple and then press your baby’s chin to close his/her mouth. With a closed mouth, the baby will not try to suckle again as automatically.
The baby will be startled at first, probably wake up and search for the breast again. Let her suck and then take off your breast the same way when your baby is almost asleep. And let the dance continue until your baby falls asleep without the nipple
DivyaMom of a 8 yr old boy7 years agoA. Hi, it's common in few babies till 1year it gradually stops nothing to worry about it. You can give an artificial nipple in the night but keep it hygiene.
PreranaMom of a 11 yr 10 m old girl7 years agoA. you can give pacifier..make sure your baby uses pacifiers only during sleep not when awake. it would reaist to make a habbit of having pacifier in the mouth for whole time.
if your baby is still fussy after you've fed, burped, cuddled, rocked, and played with her, you might want to see if a pacifier will satisfy her.
