Q.

my baby is 10 weeks old. he smiles at walls curtains etc. coos at them too.. tracks objects with eyes. also tracks our movements. looks at us. smiles infrequently. oly 3-4 times a day. it's difficult to get a smile from him. when does babies start smiling regularly? is this normal for dis age?

A. that's totally normalmaintain calm environment, dim lights at night even during feeding. keep the day activity in bright light , do minimum interaction with baby at night. swaddle well till 3 months of age. make use of her favourite blanket/ toy, so they feel secure.
