Q.

My baby is 10 months 15 days old.her weight is 7.7 kg...she did not take food properly?her birth weight was 2.4 kg...how can I gain her weight?nd how can I understand she is getting proper nutrition?

A. Hello mom Babies normally double up their birth weight by the age of 4 to 6 months and then they triple up by one year of age it is one of the indicators that your baby is growing up well and is getting proper nutrition apart from that if they are passing their urine and stools well and also they are active for their and able to achieve their milestones on time is the other indicators apart from that for that you can give him porridges made of millets like ragi ,bajra ,wheat can be given as well and you can give all seasonal fruits and vegetables ,dry fruit and egg yolk can also be introduced as well some milk products such as ghee ,Paneer can be also be given.
