Q.
my baby is 10 month old now... I gave him curd for 2 days one week before... he got fever and cold for 2 days.. now fever has gone.. but coughing is still irritating him while he is sleeping... this coughing makes him vomit.. what to do? is curd cause this kind of coughing? plz suggest me remedy

Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
