A. Thank you for sharing your concerns about your baby's weight gain. It's great that you have consulted with a doctor and received advice on how to adjust her diet. To give your baby more calories in her food, you can introduce healthy fats such as avocado, nut butters, and olive oil. You can also incorporate nutrient-dense foods like sweet potatoes, beans, and eggs. Reducing milk consumption can be tricky, but it is absolutely OK for babies to breastfeed. Don't hesitate to ask your doctor or a registered dietitian if you have further questions or concerns. Let's work together to give your baby the best nutrition possible!
