Q.

my baby is 1 month old...and he was in nicu for the first 3 days bcoz of the thrombocytopenia and then he was suffering loose stool bcoz of lactose intolerance and stopped breastfeeding and continued lactose free formula milk.. and my question is when did I continue my breastfeeding???is there any chance...

A. he is very gastric and didn't burb after feeding...is there any problem

A. thank you mam... I have an another question... he is feeding with isomil and it's dilution is 1 spoon in 60ml water...he felt hungry in every 1 hr.. didn't drink much ...can I dilute it in 30 ml water? is there any substitute? and his stool is very tight...pooping only once a day and he took much effort to poop... is there any problem?

A. good morning I don't think that you can continue breastfeeding if your child is having problem of lactose intolerance it is advisable to consult with your doctor for some non milk based formula for your child
