A mole on a 1-month-22-day-old baby is usually not a cause for concern, especially if it is small, round or oval, evenly colored (brown or black), and doesn’t change in size or shape. Many babies are born with moles or develop them early in life—these are called congenital moles and are generally harmless.
However, you should consult a pediatrician or dermatologist if the mole:
Grows rapidly Has irregular borders or uneven color Becomes raised, crusty, or starts bleeding Appears after birth and changes quickly
