Q.
my baby having little temperature and having more than soft stool ,from yesterday pass stool about 7-8 times..online doctor gives attached prescription.kindly advice and views please. thanks

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its knovjwn as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment galong with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello looks like the doctor as prescribed a medicine for loose motion and yes you can be giving it as advised by your doctor but for fever you will have to in addition give your child paracetamol which would be better and give medicine as described by a doctor
