my baby having cold from 4 days. his throat sounding like ghur ghur and i have seen thick mucus in his nostrils. i hv consultef with the dr. over the phone he advise for T- minic drops . but bby strt vomiting after having syrup. is it ok or i should stop this medicine?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. normally there is no need to give any type of medicine for such respiratory sounds and only nasal saline drops is more than enough.
kindly give nasal saline drops every three hourly and since it is a salt water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and try to prevent temperature variations on the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
