My baby have cold for 8 days ..he spitting up half of d medicine …how long wil take to cure

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatmengrt accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Its Very normal and common with kids to spit out medicine every now and then when you are giving so it’s okay what you do is start nebulising your child along with the medications that you give me because that will help in melting down the cough out of the system
