Q.

My baby has these dry skin patches on his body (hands, legs, chest and back). What is it and how can it be cured?

A. needs diagnosis. see when there are skin lesions you cant comment online. best approach will be to show to to a near by doctor who can give opinion n treat.

A. Dr. Priyanka, i visited a pediatrician and he said it is a fungal infection. He has prescribed keto soap, zocon 50, atarax and althrocin drops. He said to refrain from using moisturizers and baby massages. I wanted to know if I could use any cream to alleviate the dryness and rashes? could you suggest or should I stick to the prescription for now?

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and please massage your baby with almond oil and coconut oil and clean with raw cow milk and cream and also apply aleoveera gel after oiling the baby too. Take care
