A. Frequent blisters on your 4-month-old baby’s body can be a sign of several conditions, and it’s important to find the exact cause. Some possible reasons include: 1. Insect bites – Common in warm areas; can appear like blisters. 2. Heat rash – Due to sweating, especially in hot, humid weather. 3. Allergic reaction – To soaps, detergents, or clothing materials. 4. Viral or bacterial skin infections – Like impetigo, which causes blister-like sores. 5. Friction blisters – From tight clothes or rubbing skin. What You Should Do: Keep your baby’s skin clean and dry. Dress her in soft, breathable cotton clothes. Avoid using new soaps, creams, or detergents that may irritate her skin. Don’t pop the blisters—this can lead to infection. Apply a mild antiseptic lotion if advised by your doctor. When to See a Doctor: If blisters are spreading, filled with pus, or your baby has fever. If blisters keep coming back or don’t heal in a few days. Blisters in babies should always be checked by a pediatrician to rule out infection or allergy. Would you like to share a photo for a better idea, or tell me where on her body the blisters appear most?
