My baby has completed 3 months, she is having extreme mouthing tendency... drooling saliva ... are these symptoms of starting solids ?? pls reply.... thanks...

A. At 3 months, it is common for babies to show increased mouthing and drooling, but these are not signs that she is ready to start solids. These behaviors are usually part of normal development and may also be early signs of teething. Babies are generally ready for solid foods around 6 months, when they can sit with support, have good head control, and show interest in food. For now, continue exclusive breastfeeding or formula feeding, and use a clean teether or soft cloth to soothe her gums if needed.
