Q.

My baby has been kept under phototherapy for 2 days sir to Jaundice. Due to this his body color has become completely dark. Is it common symptom? And will he come back to previous color? What care to be taken now?

A. Hi, In jaundice, body colour fades a bit. Please don't worry about skin colour as baby's skin colour changes till baby completes 1 year dear. Don't do anything because no need of that. Continue breastfeeding till 6 month exclusively and don't forget to burp after every feed. This will give immunity to baby. Do massage daily.
