Q.

my baby has 102 fever since Friday.. he does not have any other symptoms. when I give paracetamol fever down for 5- 6 hours. after that again fever came.. I am so tensed.. kindly help

A. Hi.if you taken temperature correct method with thermometer it is less than 100 degrees F it's normal . otherwise give syp paracetamol in proper dose for 3 days If no improvement Consult your pediatrician for trying to find out the cause of fever and get some tests done as needed

A. For P 250/5ml syrup give 0.3 × (baby weight in kg) ml per 5 to 6 hours. Don't wory if no coughing. Give him ORS and plenty of water. Possible it's viral fever. e.g., if baby weight is 10.6 kg then give 0.3 × 10.6 = 3.2 ml i.e., 3 ml.

Hello all My LO is 1 year old and had high fever which reached till 102 degree for past two days given paracetamol with 5 hours gap which eventually reduced the fever and again the temperature raises after 6 hours of time from when the paracetamol was given. Not having any cold or any other symptoms. Whenever the fever is there baby gets fussy other time active and normal.
