Q.

my baby got 2nd dose of flu vaccine today .. she is suffering from 100.3 fever, her weight is 6.6 kg.. how much dose of paracetamol can I give her..

A. drops paracetamol 100mg 1ml for fever. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. hi it can be given as per instructions given on packet or you can give it after calling your pediatrician,it is safe and best option for your child health you may give sponge bath to your child which can help to reduce the body temperature
