Q.

My baby girl is 12 months and 3 weeks old and has only one lower front tooth that has erupted well to be visible. Though we can see upper premolars on both sides and lower one on the left. I can't see the upper front teeth at all, however the gums are hard and a bit swollen. Is it normal for teeth to be delayed or should we consult a dentist.

A. Hi you can consult with Pediatric Dentist for proper examination of the unerupted teeth.. else gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip or moist cold cotton cloth 3-4 times a day..this will facilitate the eruption process
