my baby fell down from sofa he was crying for 15minutes and settled down i think swelling was there he is not allow me to touch his head he is telling am hurt i hv a pain am worried please suggest

A. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it canf lead to some chronic manifestations occasionally . Also teeth injury should be rulhe out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .
