my baby dhea is around 8 months now... she was sneezing a week ago dr prescribed me solvin cold..... bt now she is having constant runny nose without any sneeze just a runny nose and a congesting like sound while asleep

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the ttcases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As ra part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

A. good afternoon it is advisable to consult with the doctor for this because it is changing whether so definitely children are catching cold very frequently it needs proper treatment to ensure it does not increase
