My baby boy is throwing tantrums now a days when ever he doesn't get the things he asked for. He started to wake up in the middle of the night and play or cry till morning . He is eating, feeding and playing fine though.

Teething would be happening with your child and that can possibly be one of the reasons to be so stubborn or behaved like this it’s a very common nature of a child and growing age a lot of kids go through this we just need to manage the diet and behaviour of the child over the period with regular counselling
