Q.
My baby boy is preterm baby, he is 3 maths n 28 days now almost 4 mths ..His weight on 22nd Dec was 4.150 kg..his birth weight was 2.220 kg but lost weight initially 1.800 then regained weight. He is completely on Breastfeeding is his weight gain Proper or is he under weight??

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist1 Year agoA. hello mom babies are expected to almost monthly gain in the range of 300 gm to 1 kg & by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight.
