my baby boy is 8mon 7 days he is slowly crawling but not sitting why.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. sitting without support and crawling in children may sometimes come after one year of age also.
if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry. just take care of regular diet and baby massage which will help in strengthening the muscles needed for sitting and crawling. x
in some cases crawling may be absent in children and directly the child will begin to stand with xsupport and later walk with support and then without support.
take a medical check up done to confirm if there is need of any intervention.

practice sitting daily
but please don't force your child
if child is not able to sit independently by the age of 9 months then you should consult your pediatrician
give gentle massage with Babyhug massage oil everyday
