Q.
my baby boy is 45 days old. am only breastfeeding him. his birth weight is 3.740kg. now his weight is 5.400kg. this weight gain is normal or high??

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. newborn baby can gain 20 to 25 grams for a day in the first 3 months of age so your baby is having more than appropriate weight for the age .

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and also please give your baby breastfeeding exclusively for the first six months and also massage twice day and also please check till six months of baby age if it is above 8 then evaluate once with doctor.
