Q.

my baby boy is 2 years and nine months old. he was 2.5 kg when born. he had a fever which lasted for a week last month. he has been eating good. also I hasd given him medicine for worms as well but still he is losing weight drastically. he was 10.6 now he is 9.8 kg. what can I do?

A. it is very common that weight loss will be present but do not worry it will gradually increase it is advisable to continue your efforts in feeding the child. many times it take more efforts from the parents to make the child eat nutritious food. so kindly go for different recipes and flavours which might improve the appetite of the child. At the same time it is also important to meet your doctor to rule out nutritional deficiency which might be the cause of loss of appetite. Give juice fruits and water which will improve appetite and regular physical activity.
