my baby boy f 4 yr 3 month and baby grl f 2 yr having running nose if I put antibiotics syrup 4 5 days runny nose vl b nt there .aftr 4 5 days again happens sam πͺ... plz suggest me ... I m worried wt to do...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.hd
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/f sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
