my baby birth vaccine got infected hepatitis b in shoulder.i am worried about this.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. this is not hepatitis B vaccination site and this is due to the BCG vaccine which was given to the child and it is totally normal
bcg vaccination which is given at birth in the upper arm will form a swelling by one or maximum two months and then it will burst open and then pus will come out from it and after that it will become a scar mark.
you have to take medical consultation if it days causing pain fever and discomfort to the child.
also if the pus discharge is increasing or aggravating again you have to meet the doctor and locally you can apply t bact cream.
