Q.
My baby after fornula fed started having diarrhea and stool test detected 30-35 pus cells ,fat and mucus. Now after complete antibiotic treatment ,there is no symptoms but still the repeat stool test shows 30-35 cells.

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenjkteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treactment

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please get the report and the baby evaluated by the doctor. It is difficult to say anything without proper examination. Please consult with your doctor and follow doctors advise accordingly.
