hello Dr. my one month 12 days baby stool test report shows that pus cells 30-40hpf, RBC, mucus and bacteria was present.. stool is acidic and reducing sugar is ++. what is the condition of that?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. A large-volume, low-fat feed goes through the baby so quickly that not all the lactose is digested (more fat would help slow it down). The lactose reaching the lower bowel draws extra water into the bowel and is fermented by the bacteria there, producing gas and acid stools. The acid stools often cause a nappy rash.Looks like lactose overload to me, speak to your paediatrician.
