Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold together along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection mostly like flu so supportive treatment is required.
along with that cough expectorant along with decongestant and antiallergic medications are needed.
steam inhalation can be given too as it will relieve the symptoms.3

It Take certain times a longer time to get rid of this issue it could be more than five days also in certain cases if it does not subside within five days then you should take an advice with your doctor and start with the course of antibiotic as it could be due to some infection
